when i was like 7 and my younger older brother 9 we used to play together cuz my other older brother and my little brother were too far from our age group :P and my dad had this friend whos 8 year old son used to come over all the time cuz his parents worked all the time. my brother and i were hateful/ungrateful little monsters back then (still am(is) sort of) for some reason and hated that kid for always smiling and just being there. our parents always made us share our toys and video games or colors and made him join our little games or whatever with him cuz he was an only child and shit and had no one else to play with here and that annoyed us. one day we were building a little fort with ropes and old sheets and wood in the backyard after watching some violent movie about a dude in a tent who goes around killing people at night and then eventually hangs himself cuz he feels bad about killing all those people, cant remember what it was called but anyways we thought he was really cool for some reason (it was prolly the only thing we actually didnt hate after a long time!) except how he died in the end ._. that just traumatized us ._. so while we were building it, him (lets call him Jeremiah! it may or may not just happen to be his actual name! :D........>_>) and my dad came outside to leave him with us and for some reason my brother was being extra hateful that day and when jeremiah came skipping with his huge smile and bouncy happy attitude my brother looked up with this evil smile that made him look like the grinch! he told jeremiah we were gonna act out the scenes from the movie from last night and he was gonna play the main dude :3 and he my brother wanted to play the last scene cuz it was his "favorite" ._. the tree was too high to tie the rope up there so we were just gonna hold the rope :P ._. my brother told me to tie the rope around jeremiahs neck and i did cuz he was born first before me and thats an automatic win with me and my siblings -_- wee pulled the rope and he started choking and the housekeeper musta seen us cuz she ran out and yelled before we could actually completely kill him ._. my brother got all the blame because i was only 7 and didnt know any better about killing people and jeremiah stopped coming to our house and i dont really know what happened to him.

I had some of those in the backyard, and man, do they bite! and eat fish and whatever else is around.
Before I had an aquarium, I had a terrarium I bought from some school sale, then added to it.

The patterns on their shell and scales are just so legit xD used to catch them a lot at this one bike trail a few hours from here that goes alongside a river where a bunch of frogs n painted turtles (a few snappers as well) hang out in the warm months
